Panorama Embedding Not Possible in Wordpress

Sadly, Wordpress does not allow the use of various htm tags that are often used to embed content within blogs. These include the object, embed and iframe tags. Wordpress also disables any posting of Javascript from most sites, though there may be ways round this.

The sad result of this is that, currently, you can not easily embed content from Panoramic Earth into Wordpress blogs or pages. If this changes in the future then we will naturally shout about it!

Actually you can get interactive panoramas and all kinds of other content such as Virtual Tours etc in a wordpress blog. You just need the right plugin. This is an example of a 360 panorama of a school (a Virtual Tour) in an iframe in wordpress: http://www.sphericalimages.com/blog/2009/06/19/packwood-haugh-school-custom-built-fullscreen-360-virtual-tour/

The plugin used is 'Embed Iframe'

Let me know how you get on and if you need any help.

All the best,

Henry Stuart

Hi Gio, KRpano is one of the most popular viewers used by Panoramic Earth and loads of other websites showing virtual tours.

I don't know if that is what Henry has used.
